Commercial forestry has become an important industry in Sri Lanka and has grown rapidly in the last decade.

We believe that we have a great responsibility towards the environment. Knowing that wood is a completely renewable resource, our responsibility lies in the ability of providing the international market with our timber, taken from our plantations, appropriately managed and certified.

Harithaayojana forestry program has identified and set-up our goals to perform our mission.

1. Restoration of the deteriorated eco systems through conservation policy, growing different species( not for timber ) to improve ecology of the site.
2. Development of strategies to gain economic benefits to the society from the managed forestry.
3. Awareness creation program to the communities, students, visitors on the sustainable management of natural resources through managed forestry
4. Providing facilities to visitors.
5. New employment creation for settlers of the area.
6. . Development of infra-structure facilities of the area.
